Haines City, Florida -- Three men have been arrested for making, selling and distributing illegal moonshine in Polk County.

On Thursday, August 15, Polk County deputies served search warrants of three homes, all containing moonshine.

According to reports, the home on Carter Road, where Joe Aaron was arrested, contained the actual moonshine still and equipment. The still was located in bathroom and the moonshine appears to have been distilled from a mixture of grains.

Rickey Barnes of Carl Boozer Road and Jacob Mayes of Uncle Pete Road were also arrested as a variety of moonshine was found in their respective homes. Both homes contained numerous jars and jugs of moonshine in flavors including pineapple, apple pie and peach.
