Bartow, FL -- The Stanford Inn in Bartow is now accepting reservations for a romantic dinner for two at the "555 Stanford".

The "555 Stanford", a fine dining restaurant located at the inn, is offering two seatings starting on Feb. 11 & 12 and then again on Valentine's Day at 6 p.m. & 8 p.m.

Seating is limited and advance reservations are suggested on Feb. 11 & 12 and required on Feb. 14.

The menu includes a 4-course meal with the regular menu also available on Feb. 11 & 12.

Chili contest to 'spice up' Friday Fest

Bartow, FL -- If you're a big fan of chili, or just want to spice things up a bit, Bartow's next Friday Fest may be serving-up you're kind of entertainment.


Organizers say a restaurant chili cook-off will include several local establishments vying for top chili honors.


Samples are $5, $10 gets you a meal-sized portion and a family of four can eat a chili dinner for $20.
