Memo questions leadership after controversial bra search

LAKELAND, Florida -- Police dash cam video showing a controversial bra search during a traffic stop has raised a lot of eyebrows, including from one Lakeland city commissioner.

Howard Wiggs sent a memo to other city leaders that questioned the city's and police department's reactions so far to the search and other incidents.

Police search for person of interest in string of burglaries

Winter Haven, Florida-- After a string of convenience store burglaries across Polk County Friday morning, Winter Haven Police say they need the public's help to identify a person of interest. 

According to the police report, surveillance footage from the Circle K on the 1000 block of First Street South shows a black male as he parked what could be a white Cutlass Ciera at a pump, and walked inside the store to pay for gas.

Lakeland, Florida -- State Attorney Jerry Hill calls a bra-shaking search ordered by one Lakeland police officer during a traffic stop "highly questionable."

The stop by Officer Dustin Fetz of Zoe Brugger was caught on camera.

Fundraiser for family of deputy killed in crash

Lakeland, Florida -- It's been nearly two months since an auto accident killed Master Deputy Sheriff Shane Robbins. The 40-year-old had been with the Polk County Sheriff's Office for 15 years. He left behind a wife and five children.

This weekend, a benefit will take place for his family. It'll be held all day Saturday at Winners Circle Sports Bar and Comedy Club, located at 4215 South Florida Avenue in Lakeland.

Cop asks Lakeland woman to lift shirt, shake bra

LAKELAND, Florida- Zoe Brugger says she was simply driving home when her opinion of law enforcement changed forever.

"He was set on finding something and my rights were not going to stand in his way," said Brugger of the Lakeland Police Officer who pulled her over.

The 28-year-old new mother was stopped May 21st for driving with a burned out headlight. Making matters worse, she says she was unaware her license was also suspended.

"He kept asking if we had anything in the car, he kept saying I looked way too nervous."
