Carjacking suspects arrested

Winter Haven, Florida - Winter Haven Police have arrested four people in the armed robbery and carjacking of a 43-year-old man.

Police say on Monday the carjacking victim met Shirien Keverenge and Shanyce Black in the area of Crispers restaurant in Winter Haven.  The victim gave them his phone number and told the women to call him later.  After receiving several calls from them, he decided to meet them at a coin laundry in the 500 block of Ave. J, SE. Keverenge and Black allegedly asked the victim to buy them some items from the Circle K and while he was inside, police say the two women discussed a plan to rob him.

Keverenge and Black reportedly contacted Qornelious Campbell and Darrell Miller, and they agreed the women would lure the victim to Sportsman Park for the robbery.

At approximately 10:30 p.m., they arrived at the park where Campbell and Miller approached the victim. Campbell had a gun and demanded money.  Investigators say the two men beat the victim until he was unconscious.  When he woke up, his car, gold necklace, wallet and cell phone was missing.

When the victim reported the crime, police were able to locate his vehicle with Keverenge and Black inside. Campbell and Miller were also identified and located. Officers found a .22 caliber revolver inside Campbell's residence next to his Florida ID card and the victim's chain was also located inside a pair of Campbell's shorts.

All four suspects were arrested for Armed Carjacking and Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery. Miller and Campbell were also charged with Violation of Probation.
