You can finally see how 50 million bricks make a theme park. Legoland Florida is officially open!

"Somebody told me about an old man sitting on a park bench and I'm kind looking for it," says 7-year-old Ethan Shannon.

He and his family are weaving their way through the park during their vacation.

Coming Soon: Legoland already talking expansion

"A lot of models, a lot of Legos, some things we haven't seen before that you haven't seen anywhere else," says Ethan's mother, Bonnie Shannon.

Tickets are $70 for adults and $60 for kids. But there are plenty of ways to save, starting with a soda can.

"With a  specially marked Pepsi can, you can buy an adult, get a child ticket free. That is a savings of $65 per family and you can use up to six per can," says Legoland spokesperson, Jackie Wallace.

You can't bring in lunch for your family, but if you eat a big breakfast, save on food by having a late lunch at the Pizza Pasta Buffett.

"We have pizza, all kinds of pizza, from Hawaiian pizza to plain cheese, pepperoni, all meat and then several different pasta options as well as a salad bar," says Wallace.

You're not just going to save on food and drinks here at Legoland. Wallace says you can make it a staycation through the Bed and Brick program.

"Which has special offers of combine packages of hotel and tickets which put both of those at a great discount. "

For some free fun - don't forget your mini figure.

"You can trade it all day long with any employee that is wearing a mini figure. All you have to do is walk up and ask them for a trade," says Wallace.

Plus, the more you save - the more Lego blocks you can buy.

Keep in mind other costs involved, like parking, which is $12.

To visit often and really save, you may want to consider an Annual Pass. The Standard Pass is $129 for adults and $99 for children. The Plus Pass includes parking, food and merchandise discounts. It's $159  for adults and $129 for children. A Senior Garden Pass includes admission Monday through Friday, parking, food and merchandise discounts. It's for Seniors, 60 and up, for $60.

Don't forget about the ambassador pass. It's lifetime admission for $2,500.
