More evidence released in lotto winner murder case
News

Tampa, Florida -- New information is being released surrounding the case of DeeDee Moore, the woman accused of murdering Lakeland lottery winner Abraham Shakespeare.

After a court hearing Monday afternoon, a judge allowed the release of dozens of additional documents related to the criminal investigation. Included were jail house interviews, meetings and phone calls.

In one phone call, Moore says, "I told you I am done with everything with that man Shakespeare. I ain't helping the man out no more. He can freaking sink. He can sink like the boat he came in on."

Detectives believe this call is a trick, and that Moore actually befriended Shakespeare, took control of his finances and then murdered him.

If convicted, Moore faces life in prison. She's due back in court in mid-March.
