Haines City resident wins portion of Powerball jackpot | News
Haines City, Florida -- Sixty-eight people woke up instant millionaires Thursday morning following last night's record Powerball $579 million jackpot.
In all, there were two grand prize winners in Arizona and Missouri, eight people won $2 million and 58 each won $1 million - and two of those live right here in Florida. One of those tickets bought, was in Haines City at the Pilot Travel Center on U.S. 27.
While the identity of the winner is still a mystery, 10 News Reporter Beau Zimmer got a chance to speak with the man who sold the winning ticket during his shift Wednesday night.
