Winter Haven, FL-- It doesn't snow in Florida, but that won't stop the City of Winter Haven from getting 70 TONS of snow this year!

That's right, the city will have 70 tons of snow delivered for Snow Fest, scheduled to take place next Thursday, December 20 from 6 - 9 p.m. 

Organizers say Snow Fest will have snow, slides, games, food and even a visit with Santa- all for FREE!

The event takes place in  Central Park- don't miss it!

Winter Haven, FL-- Local church Praise Bands will be performing in Central Park starting at 6:30 p.m. next Friday, December 14.

According to Mywinterhaven.com, this will be the first year of the Praise Bands.

Lakeland, Florida -- The Downtown Lakeland Partnership, Inc. is hosting a photo contest.

To participate, submit your photos to contest@DowntownLakelandFl.com, along with your name.

Photos must be taken in Downtown Lakeland between now and Dec. 21, and should be a family-friendly interpretations of the 12 Days of Christmas.

It's a Facebook based popularity contest, so it's important to like them and then share!

Lakeland, Florida - On Saturday, Dec. 8, snow will fall in Lakeland as the 32nd Annual Snowfest kicks off at Lake Mirror from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

This year's event will feature the traditional snow mountain along with an exciting snow slide, a visit from Santa Claus, children's entertainment, inflatables and food vendors will complete the day.

Price for admission to snow mountain or the snow slide will be a canned food item or a $1 donation.

Chabad Jewish Center invites members of the Polk County community to participate in the third annual public Menorah lighting in downtown Lakeland.

The fun starts Sunday, December 9 at 4 p.m. at Lake Mirror Ampitheatre, which is located at 121 S. Lake Ave, Lakeland, FL 33801.
