Bartow, FL -- Make plans now to go to the beach during Main Street Bartow Beach. Downtown’s next Friday Fest on July 15 features a beach-themed street party from 6 - 9 p.m. along east Main Street and Central Avenue.

This month’s host is Spath Jewelers.

Don your flip-flops and tool on down to check out the live music by The Peanut Butter Company. This eclectic and popular band’s members call themselves, “the hardest working oldies rock and roll band in central Florida”.

They’ll also be lots of activities for kids! A bounce house and water slide is planned for them, and food and drink will be available from vendors on the street as well as from the downtown restaurants.

Bartow Friday Fest also features an open Cruise-in Car Show. Do you have an antique, collector or special-interest car you’d like to show? If so, bring it to Friday Fest and show it off!

You will be joining an established event with live entertainment, beverage sales, open Main Street restaurants and shops, including an ice cream shop.

For more information about the Cruise-in, call Gail Murray at (863) 534-0121.

Friday Fest is held on the third Friday of every month and is sponsored by Main Street Bartow, Inc.; The Polk County Democrat; City of Bartow; and Bartow’s Community Redevelopment Agency.

For more information, call Main Street Bartow at (863) 519-0508.
