LAKELAND, Florida -- Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the case of the Jimmy Hughes Jean shooting back in Nov. 2010, that later resulted in his death, according to the Lakeland Police Department.

Police continue to investigate this homicide and are asking that anyone with information that can lead to the identity of the shooter to contact the Lakeland Police Detective Russell Hurley at 863-834-8973 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-226-8477.

On Nov. 22, 2010, witnesses said that a group of young males were fighting at 1200 N. Lincoln Ave. in Lakeland when Jean, 26, got shot. 

Jean later died at Lakeland Regional Medical Center as a result of the injuries he sustained from gunshot wounds.
