Land O' Lakes, Florida -- A Pasco woman was arrested Thursday after police discovered she had been printing counterfeit bills from her home.

Pasco Sheriff's deputies say Kelli McClain's mother-in-law tipped them off to what she was doing after she gave them clippings from a trash pile she got at McClain's home. During a search of the home in the 4200 block of Roundview Court, deputies recovered several counterfeit bills.

In an interview with deputies, McClain admitted to counterfeiting a number of bills in her house and used them at a local Winn Dixie and a Lakeland Citgo. She said she needed the money to buy food.

McClain, 45, has been charged with forging bills.
