Lakeland Police Athletic League Summer Camp Etiquette Dinner

Lakeland, FL -- Lakeland Police Athletic League Summer Camp held their Etiquette Dinner on June 9, 2011.

The event provided good tips for proper manners at the dinner table straight out of Emily Post.

Male students practiced pulling out chairs for ladies and using good manners at the dinner table. This is all a part of the dressed for success portion of summer camp.

PAL Director, Tim Abrams, says that dressing properly is just the beginning. It is important to know good manners, and just as important to practice what you know in public situations.

“Having good manners does not do you any good unless you use them.” The PAL Summer Camp kids were provided an opportunity to do just that.

Thanks to all the volunteers and others who made this opportunity possible. It was a great learning experience and a great meal!
