Lakeland, Florida-- With funds raised from the BTLS foundation's "Bikes for Badges" charity ride last month, Bubba the Love Sponge was able to make a large contribution to the family of a fallen PCSO deputy.

The event took place on June 15 to honor Master Deputy Robbins after he lost his life in the line of duty in April. A little over a month and a lot of donations later, Bubba presented Deputy Robbins' family with a $13,000 check.

The picture above is from the Polk County Sheriff's Office. Bubba and Sheriff Grady Judd are standing with Deputy Robbins' wife, Alissa, and four of their five children, Jacob, Kara, Sophie, and Carlie.

Next to the photo, the sheriff's office extended a big thank you the BTLS Foundation, Ker's Winghouse, and all of the sponsors and volunteers who made the "Bikes for Badges" event possible.
