Channelside 4th of July Independence Day Celebration is a FREE event and is open to the public.
Arrive early to check out one of the restaurants in Channelside for dinner and head into one of the bars before the crowd hits. Viewing of the Fireworks from the Wharf Area will be limited the first 3,000 people.
Wristbands will be given out for access at the Garrison Street Gate at 7:00 p.m. Only persons with wristbands will be allowed on the wharf. Channelside recommend parking at the garage across the street from the complex or in open lots between Channelside and St Pete Times Forum. Also, consider taking the TECO Line Street Car from Downtown Tampa or Ybor City.
NO Coolers or Personal Fireworks and PLEASE drink responsibly!

The City of St. Pete Beach will host their annual fireworks display on Wednesday, July 4 beginning at dark. The display will be launched from a barge in the Gulf directly west of the County Park located at 47th Street (across from the Dolphin Village Plaza).

In honor of Independence Day, members of the military and up to three direct dependents are invited to visit the Zoo for free on July 1-7. Free admission applies to active duty military, reservists or members of the Guard with a valid military I.D. and up to three direct dependents.
Clearwater Celebrates America on Wednesday, the Fourth of July at Coachman Park, 301 Drew St.
This free event will be fun for the whole family, featuring the largest fireworks display in the Tampa Bay area, and a concert by the Mostly Pops Orchestra and the Wilsons. There will be food, beverages, and exhibitors to add to the festivities.
Gates open at 4 p.m. and music will begin at 7:30 p.m. Children's activities are 5 to 9 p.m. and will include games, prizes, face painting, and a visit from Tampa Bay's favorite mascots. The fireworks display, at 9:30 p.m. will be synchronized to music to end the evening.
You CANNOT bring: alcoholic beverages, glass bottles/containers, canopies, pets, or personal fireworks.

Family Fun On The 4th!
If you're looking for some great family fun this July 4th, make sure you visit WQYK at our 9th Annual Brandon Blast Military Appreciation & 4th of July Celebration presented by Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority.
WQYK and Westfield Brandon are once again celebrating Independence Day on Wednesday, July 4 from 5 - 9 p.m. in the Restaurant Courtyard in front of The Cheesecake Factory and California Pizza Kitchen.
This year's event includes live music, family entertainment and dining, and the chance to win great prizes! There will also be a KidZone complete with inflatables. At 9p we'll light up the night sky with a fireworks display set to America's music...country music."
Beginning at noon with "Bus Stop", classic rock band, on our Courtyard stage until 3:00 p.m. then "Kim Betts and the Gamble Creek Band" take to the stage with country tunes - old and new - from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. "Baby Grand in the Sand" will perform between band breaks from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. and then "soulRcoaster" tops off the evening with pop rock from 8:00 - 11:00 p.m.
Face painting begins at noon (nominal charge, depending upon design) and runs until 9:00 p.m. We welcome back the "One Man Band" who will be strolling throughout The Pier and out front from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.; Fritz from Fritzy Bros One Man Circus will give us a full seven hours of hilarious entertainment from 1:00 - 8:00 p.m.; and the Power Skipper will return this year and perform his jumping antics from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
The "Dance Heads" will be in the Dockside Activity Room where you can be a STAR in your own dance/music video! DVD's are FREE for you and your friends who are participating and you choose your own song! Danceheads from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Highlands Little Theatre performs Patriotic Musical Revue
"Highlands Little Theatre performers are rehearsing to entertain the public with a Patriotic Musical Revue on July 4.
Dust off your red-white-and-blue attire and plan to attend this (FREE) all-American event. Four shows are being offered from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Highlands Little Theatre (main stage) Blackman Theatre. The Heartland Pops will be playing tunes, and hot dogs and other food items will be sold as a fund-raiser for the Theatre's many programs.

Independence Day Fireworks Display Inverness
The Fireworks display may be viewed along Hwy. 19 near Charlie's Restaurant heading south on the west side of Hwy 19 and from Kings Bay Park (268 NW 3rd St.).
Boaters will be able to view the display from Kings Bay and the Crystal River waterways. Boaters are restricted to an area of 1000 feet from the fireworks barge.

On Tuesday, July 3, one of the largest firework presentations in the area will take place over Lake Henderson and Liberty and Wallace Brooks Parks. Beginning at 5 p.m., non-profit food and information booths, live music, children's entertainment and activities will provide fun for all before the fireworks display. Parking and admission is free!
