Police: CVS robber hits 2nd store in 2 weeks

Haines City, FL -- Haines City Police are searching for a man who robbed a local CVS store on Monday, Jan. 2.

According to the report, the man entered the store, at 39902 Hwy 27 North in Haines City, approached the register and asked about the price of a video game system. While the clerk checked the price, the man lifted his shirt and flashed a handgun in the waistband. He then demanded all of the money from the register, and a carton of L&M cigarettes. He also fled in a beige-colored car with a "Zone" brand 3-D gaming system.

He is described as being in his 40's or 50's, with thin, balding hair, between 5'10" and 6' tall and weighing between 180 and 200 pounds. He also wore eyeglasses. He was last seen in all black clothing, wearing a black sweatshirt with zippered front.

Police say the same man committed a similar robbery of a store in Plant City on Dec. 20.
