Bartow, FL -- The Central Florida Development Council’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will host six seminars in January to help budding entrepreneurs complete a thorough business plan, start a new business and improve customer service.

Four seminars will be held at the Neil Combee County Administration Building, Room 139 (first floor), 330 West Church Street in Bartow and two seminars will be held at area chambers of commerce.

Steps to Starting a Small Business will be offered 9:30 a.m. – noon on Jan. 4 at the Neil Combee Building.

Building the Ultimate Business Plan will be held from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 11 at the Greater Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, 35 Lake Morton Drive in Lakeland and 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Jan. 18 at the Neil Combee Building. The same course will also be offered from 1 – 4 p.m. on January 18 at the Lake Wales Chamber of Commerce, 340 West Central Avenue in Lake Wales. 

The Customer Service seminar will be held 9 – 11 a.m. on Jan. 25 at the Neil Combee Building and Start Up Costs and Cash Flow Worksheet For Your Business seminar will be held from 1 – 3 p.m. in the Neil Combee Building.
