Vendors wanted for Snowfest

Lakeland, Fl -  The City of Lakeland Parks & Recreation Department is proud to host the 33rd Annual Snowfest at Lake Mirror on Saturday December 7, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  

This year's event will feature the traditional snow mountain and a snow slide, a visit from Santa Claus, children's entertainment, inflatables, arts & crafts vendors and food vendors.

Polk County, Florida-- As part of its economic development restructuring process, the Board of County Commissioners and the Central Florida Development Council, Inc. (CFDC) have announced a name change that better fits expanding services offered to Polk County’s small business community.

Lakeland, Florida-- Grow Financial Federal Credit Union celebrated the opening of their 20th branch in Lakeland, Florida with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, April 3. 

Bank reps say the president and CEO of Grow Financial cut the ribbon, along with the Mayor of Lakeland, Gow Fields, Grow Financial staff members and Lakeland Chamber of Commerce leaders.

Downtown Lakeland Partnership to host "Breakfast with Champions"

Lakeland, Florida-- You're invited to join the Downtown Lakeland Partnership for their monthly meeting series, "Breakfast with Champions".

As seen in the flier above, Former Lakeland Mayor Larry Durrence will be at this month's meeting. 

The continental breakfast is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3 at the Lake Mirror Tower, 130 S Massachusettes Ave., Downtown Lakeland.

Lakeland, Florida -- The city of Lakeland is hosting upcoming classes and forums for vendors.

The City of Lakeland Purchasing & Stores Division invites registered vendors, suppliers and contractors of Lakeland to do business with the City at one of the four upcoming Vendor Forum sessions.

The forums will help potential vendors know how to conduct business with the City of Lakeland, and the sessions will allow valuable feedback on ways to improve the procurement process.
