Bartow, FL - Playboy Magazine's Miss January 2010, Jaime Faith Edmondson, is a Tampa Bay local. The Bartow native, who will be 32 years old next week, is currently poised to potentially receive an even more elusive honor: be the first Playmate of the Year in the new decade. One of the twelve Playboy centerfolds from 2010, also known as Playmates, will earn the title.

After leaving Bartow to graduate from Northeast High School in Oakland Park, Florida, she stayed in the Sunshine State to major in Criminology at Florida Atlantic University.

The redhead lists her ambitions on the Playmate of the Year website, which include: "to do a PETA 'Angel for Animals' ad, host a sports show, and perfect my hair blowout in under 30 minutes." The football-lover and Harry Potter fan is also an animal rights activist who loves her own furry friend, Miss Molly, an 8-year-old miniature Dachsund. Her turn-ons include "big trucks, big men" and "guys who are athletic, tattooed, and who can fix ANYTHING!"

Edmonson is a model, activist, former police officer, Season 14 Amazing Race runner-up, and even an NFL Cheerleader for the Miami Dolphins who was named an NFL Pro Bowl Cheerleader for 2007.

If she wins the current Playboy competition, she will be the first redhead to be named Playmate of the Year in 40 years.

Fans can cast their vote online, and the input will be weighed by Hugh Hefner when he makes the final decision next year. The winner will be crowned in May 2011. To vote for Jaime, click here.
