Chalk for Charity this Saturday | Arts & Culture
Lakeland, Florida-- The 2nd Annual Chalk for Charity Festival is happening in downtown Lakeland this Saturday!
Using chalk and liquid tempera as their medium and pavement as their canvas, professionals and novices will turn the streets of asphalt into an outdoor art display. The exhibitions will be located on Kentucky and Tennessee Avenues.
The public will be able to purchase tokens to vote for their favorite art with prizes going to the entries receiving the most votes. Additionally, there will be a Professional Award presented.
This event is family friendly, and there will even be a children's area where parents and grandparents can purchase small squares for them to display their budding talent.
